A bec de corbin is a type of pole weapon that was popular in medieval Europe. The name is Old French for "raven's beak". it consists of a modified hammer's head and spike mounted atop a long pole.It is battle ready and can be used for costume dressing. It was developed in the late middle ages and used into the Rennaisance by knights and noblemen.

A good axe that I'm very pleased with. The back hammer is a bit narrow but well within the size of existing items. It is a much better axe than the Deepeeka version in finish which I consider fairly high. I recommend it for anyone doing a mid to late 15th century men-at-arms portrayal as an essential weapon.
